Prometheus Foundation funds many organisations and individuals that can productively use funds to advance Ayn Rand and Objectivism. Whether you’re a professional Objectivist intellectual, an intellectual in training, or plan to positively impact the culture, Prometheus Foundation wants to hear from you.

Objectivist Venture Fund

Under the Objectivist Venture Fund (OVF), we underwrite individuals and organizations with plans to positively impact the culture by promoting Ayn Rand’s ideas, if they meet the following criteria:

  • Eligibility:
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Objectivism
  • Demonstrate ability to plan and execute a project for advancing Objectivism
  • Application requirements:
  • A completed application form
  • A resume complete with personal, educational and professional accomplishments
  • A proposal which explains your plans for advancing Objectivism - complete with projected outcome and a budget

Ayn Rand Center Israel

Proposal by Boaz Arad

Launching Ayn Rand Center Israel the objective of which is to promote Objectivism in Israel.

Scholarships Program

Under the Scholarships Program of the New Intellectuals Fund, serious Objectivists of all ages may apply for funds to finance their formal education, if they meet the following criteria:

  • Eligibility:
  • Are enrolled or will be enrolled in a formal educational program leading to a certificate or degree
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Demonstrate a record of academic achievement
  • Submit a scholarship application
  • Application requirements:
  • Resume complete with educational, professional and extracurricular activities, honors, awards and other accomplishments
  • Proposal which explains your plans, including what are you applying to do (incl. Evidence of Acceptance/Offer from the institution)
    • University/College
    • Major/Program
    • Intended start date
    • Expected completion year
  • A budget - must include information about sources of your annual income incl. financial aid
  • A transcript - if available. If not, please explain in the proposal
  • Recommendations/References:
  • Recommendation(s) from your current or most recent supervisor(s), and/or
  • Reference letters - e.g. from current or former employers

Productiveness Program

Under the Productiveness Program of the New Intellectuals Fund, we provide financial support to professional Objectivist intellectuals who need time to complete a course, write a book, or finish some other worthwhile assignment.

  • Eligibility:
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Objectivism
  • Demonstrate ability for enhancing teaching or education
  • Application requirements:
  • A completed application form
  • A resume complete with personal, educational and professional accomplishments
  • A proposal which explains your plans - complete with projected outcome and a budget
